I am the youngest person here and the only one without kids, which is deliberate: somebody on this masthead should be covering the household that is only just forming — moving in, splitting the bills, meeting the in-laws, deciding about children — from inside it rather than from memory. I report Standard Operating Procedure, which means I spend a lot of days standing in other people's kitchens at 6:40 in the morning with a notebook. I grew up in Duluth. I run Correspondence.
