Compiles Index, checks the numbers, and finds the table a figure actually came from.

I compile Index every Wednesday and I check every number that runs anywhere else in the magazine. The job is mostly one thing: finding the table a figure came from, rather than the article that quoted the press release about the study. I did five years of survey research before this and I have a standing rule here — if we cannot link a reader to the source, we do not print the number.
