Out of The 6:40 a.m. Exit, From a Household That Has It Down

The night before, by 8 p.m.

Clothes out, full set, weather checked. An adult glances at each — four seconds.
Bags by the door, packed and closed.
Breakfast declared, written on the fridge.

The morning

6:40 — adults up, dishwasher emptied. Do not skip this.
6:52 — children woken, one call, lights on.
6:55 — dress in what was laid out. No downstairs until dressed.
7:01 — breakfast, already decided.
7:12 — teeth, shoes, coats. One adult at the door, doing nothing.
7:16 — out.

The one rule

Nobody negotiates in the morning. The answer is: that was last night's conversation.

Adapt the times; keep the order. The two night-before steps are the ones doing the work, and the dishwasher at 6:40 is the step every household drops first and misses most.
